by Alyssa Aceline

A lot of people prefer to cure than acne through natural means, rather than going by a doctor's prescription and taking pill after pill.

Your odds of having a doctor tell you that natural methods work well when fixing up your acne, are slim to none. To add to the confusion, you may have a lot of people tell you that going to a doctor for an acne problem is just a waste of time.

So what are you left to do then? Use medical options along with natural cures. Eat well, keep your nutrition in line and also use chemical treatments if need be, perhaps a lotion or cream.

When it comes to acne, control what you can. This means having lots of vitamins, watching what you eat, drinking lots of water, and cleansing daily. Things such as our genes are not something that we can control, and they may or may not contribute to our acne problem.

Washing your face each morning is something to take note of. By removing the skin cells on your face which have died off, along with dried up sweat, you are giving your acne problem some room to breathe.

Always remember to keep your skin nice and moist if possible. Dry skin will lead to a buildup of junk over your pores, affecting your acne even more.

If you took a cross section of skin and looked at it, you would find the epidermis, dermis, pores, glands, follicles, and a whole lot more.

Remember to clean yourself before bed each day. Your body sweats throughout the day and this sweat can harden on your skin, leaving you with more acne.

Try looking into the use of Benzoyl Peroxide as well. It can be used as a deep cold treatment, which will help to open up any clogged pores u may have.

Foods that contain vitamin B and C help to repair skin which is damaged from acne. They also serve to help reduce the swelling that may occur as a result of many pimples. Keep your nutrition in line and you will keep your acne in line.
