The Age Old Dilemma For Women – Which Pair Of Jeans Should You Choose?

We women tend to have not just one pair of jeans these days, but several pairs in the wardrobe. Take me for example. I have light ones, dark ones, stone washed ones, acid washed ones but how do I go about deciding which type I should buy? Well with so many types of women's designer jeans out there it can be difficult for us women to decide which pair to buy and which ones will suit us.

To make this decision easier you must first decide what body type you are. Are you a 'curvy woman' with an hour glass figure with big bust and hips along with a well defined waist? Are you a 'rectangular woman' with average sized bust, flat bottom and no waist definition? Or are you an 'inverted triangle' woman with large bust, average waist and narrow hips? Whichever one you are, there is a pair of jeans out there for you.

Women with the hourglass shape should go for a pair of jeans with a smooth fit and with a stretchy denim material that will hug your curves and show them off. You need them to be narrow in the waist but fuller in the hips so as to avoid a gap at the back. Perhaps also go for a slight flare at the bottom, and darker jeans are probably better for hourglass girls.

Rectangular body types should go with a straight leg or possibly with a bit of a flare. Don't go for too baggy but a slight bagginess is ok. Look for a pair that will give you a bit of shape in the hips, and ones with back pockets with a flap which can make the backside look a bit more bulky. You may want to go for faded or acid washed to give a bit of shape.

Inverted triangle girls should select boot cut or flared jeans, making your legs appear longer and leaner. You should definitely avoid straight leg or tapered jeans. Get a pair with side pockets to bulk out the thighs. Choose a low cut jean with contoured waists and a faded or acid wash will also suit you very well.

Whatever body type you are, I wish you good luck!
