Ray Ban is a high end brand of sunglasses that were founded in 1937 by Bausch and Lomb. They were created for the United States Army Air Corps but were later introduced to the public. The brand is by far the highest selling eyewear designer in the world and in 1999 Bauch and Lomb sold the company to the Luxottica Group for $640 million.
